So, I think the issue is more related with client setting, you could try to configure a new Outlook profile first, check whether this issue caused by configuration in old profile. You have migrated all mailboxes to Exchange online, the EWS service is managed by Exchange online which is stable. Office-exchange-server-administration office-exchange-online-itpro users could configure OOF from OWA successfully, it means there doesn't exist issue with the server side.
#OUT OF OFFICE MAC MAIL NOT WORKING UPDATE#
Is it possible that we need to re-apply the AADC configuration to update the hybrid exchange? I've worked in hybrid environments before, but inherited this one as it is and cannot figure out what has been done to get it to this point. These functions work as expected in OWA though O365 Internal DNS has been cleaned up and there are no references to the internal Exchange currently External DNS is set up correctly for our domain and O365 domain check validates this as being correct This happens to profiles which were created inside and outside our LAN, so I am reasonably confident that it is not internal DNS at this point. Some of our users, with little rhyme or reason, can set their own out-of-office and the majority of our users cannot and get a server is not available message. There was a legacy hybrid Exchange in place which was removed following this: We use Azure AD Connect to sync AD and hybrid exchange (so that we can manage the users). We have migrated all mailboxes to O365 Exchange online at this time. Our environment has a single Exchange server for user management only.
